The name “La Cai” traces back to the 1930s when a famous bar, Lacaze—derived from the French la casa—became a landmark of the vibrant district. Over time, the name evolved through local Vietnamese pronunciation, and “La Cai” became synonymous with the vibrant heart of Chợ Lá»›n.
