A Taste of Tradition and Heritage

EST 1996

Inspired by the rich history of Saigon’s Chợ Lá»›n district, La Cai Noodle House brings a fusion of culture and flavor to every meal. The name “La Cai” traces back to the 1930s when a famous bar, Lacaze—derived from the French la casa—became a landmark of the vibrant district. Over time, the name evolved through local Vietnamese pronunciation, and “La Cai” became synonymous with the vibrant heart of Chợ Lá»›n.

Much like its namesake, La Cai Noodle House is a place where tradition meets community. Our menu is crafted with authentic flavors, honoring the lively markets, historic temples, and cultural blend of French and Chinese influences that defined old Saigon. Join us for a meal that’s steeped in history and full of flavor.
